Philadelphia Furniture Show

The annual Philadelphia Furniture Show returns to the 23rd Street Armory this spring with an array of artisans, including two from Chester County. The Furniture Show will be open Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2.

The longest-running exhibition of its kind in the U.S., the Furniture Show will exhibit the work of 50 exceptional woodworkers, weavers, potters, photographers, and others, including:

  • Paul Huberty of Shaker Fine Furniture in West Chester. He “builds furniture that showcases the inherent beauty of wood while crossing the threshold from furniture-maker to artist.”
  • David Rozek of Pandemic Design Studio in Chesterbrook. His stunning tables and drawers and other furniture and lighting pieces compose a visual language that “appears to be actively evolving” in “erosion and accretion by natural forces.”

“Today’s artisans and makers are creating tomorrow’s heirlooms,” said Stefa Normantas, managing partner of Green Tree Events, owner of the Philadelphia Furniture Show. “This prestigious show features the best American, hand-made furniture and furnishings that Philadelphia has ever seen.”
