Happy New Year and best of luck in 2016! December was a great month for exposure and some big things happened to close out 2015. The official website is still in progress and very near completion but more importantly, six works from Pandemic Design Studio were selected and debuted in Emergence: Craft and Technology at the internationally recognized Wayne Art Center located in Wayne. PA. www.wayneart.org. The items selected will be on display from December 5th until January 30th and include the Morphic Dresser, complete Static Dynamic Collection, and two aluminum etchings of End Table 1 and 2. All of these projects utilize CAD and CAM technology in addition to traditional techniques to design and produce each piece. The relationship between computer generated and hand made is the main premise of this show among other criteria.
Thank you to Wayne Art Center for recognizing and appreciating the work of Pandemic Design Studio, our aesthetic and technique, and giving us an opportunity to showcase what we do and can do. The show is open to the public so if you are near, please stop by and experience some of the exceptional cutting-edge computer-aided object and art designs that utilize many different mediums and come from all over the world.
